Susan M. Brazell

Susan Lennie Mims Brazell, 65, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Williamsburg Regional Hospital.

      Mrs. Brazell was born May 30, 1955, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late LeRoy Mims and Tommie Epps Mims. She was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and retired as a bank teller in Myrtle Beach. Susan was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church.

     Surviving Susan are: her two children, Susan M. Gause (Alvin Hyman), and Dawayne (Wendy Welch) Gause, both of Kingstree; brothers, Tony (Francie) Mims, of Mt. Pleasant, and Richard (Margaret) Mims, of Columbia; a sister, Marie Glover, of Concord, NC; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ward, of Myrtle Beach; Jayce Gause, of Indiana; and Brandy McKenzie (E.W.) Prosser, of Kingstree; 7 great grandchildren, Elliott Ward, Bailee Drake, Edwin Elmer, Tobias Elmer, William Prosser IV, Kinsley Prosser, and Tyler Prosser.

    A memorial service will be held at a later date.
